The soft, sweet melody is a cacophony indeed,
An enemy of my enemy is a friend in need.
Flower petals so soft like the stone of the road,
Welcome to my hovel, my humble abode.
It's the perfect place, I have to say, for a very ugly room,
Did you know that going to the hospital is the perfect place for your tomb?

The Concept of Hentai
The word "Hentai" is a Japanese word that literally means "pervert or perverted". Manga artists started the trend of Hentai during the time where Japan started trading with Europe. The exact date is still unknown, though the safe bet is the early 1400's, the time of the Muromachi Era (1413 B.C.) The art was nothing more than a simple portrayal of nude men and women drawn in a risque fashion. The idea was to visually reflect the teachings of the early Kama-Sutra, an ancient manuscript that depicted numerous taboo sexual acts. Eventually, artists that wanted a name for themselves, during the Hentai movement, started drawing pictures of people commiting sexual acts with other people. However, the demand for new and exciting art was high, and the hearts and desires of men are easily corrupted. Thus spawned Hentai, transforming the current teachings of the Kama Sutra into bold visual depictions of the artist's deepest sexual desires and putting it on paper for marketing. At first it was greatly frowned upon, but somewhere along the line, a rising Chinese artist named Xiao Jin Fu, saw the potential that Hentai had as a commodity, and pounced on its concept. Within a few short weeks, Hentai was being sold by the bag fulls, and people from all over were begging to buy one and hang it in their homes, despite their spouse's disgust. Religion was also influenced by Hentai. The Way of Bushido, or Way of the Warrior, was modified from its original creation many centuries before. Such new concepts as homosexuality were accepted fully as a normal way of life. Nowadays, however, Hentai is looked down on once again by parents and adults everywhere, for its sexual depictions range in genre from A-Z, and offend just as many people. Though in its mother country of Japan, it is still viewed as beautiful art as an expression of the secret soul. No picture will be available for this one.
Declaration Of My Concept/ Economic Role Of Anime
I forgot to mention why I chose my concept. For one thing, Anime is a family friendly commodity that warms the hearts of all its viewers. Its many genres are perfected to suit any audience that is willing to watch. Unfortuneatly, there are stereotypes of Anime that ignorant people have. Anime is not just a cartoon with minimal motion (the amount of motion is limited to only two things: The money spent to animate it, and the way it was drawn to begin with.) It is actually the main stream of entertainment for the Japanese economy. But it is not just Japan, though the best of the Animes hit them first. As I said, it is everyone. Some genres are funny and full of humor, dark or whimsical, and are meant to make its audience laugh and smile. there are others that are saddening induced by the death of a main character or innocent protagonist, to make its audience cry or feel bad/sympathetic. Others are dark, gory and maddeningly grotesque, and is meant to make its viewers snarl with disdain at the character on the screen or the way the main character got his torso eaten off by a monster. Everything in art, modern or no, can be related to Anime, and vice versa. Some of the things that are portrayed in Anime would not usually have been accepted by modern people due to its strange animation. They say, in the Anime animation business, the way the Anime is animated depends on how entertaining it is to watch (Look at the title: The Many Genres of Anime, for better insight.) It is fun, it is entertaining, and it is easy to get into! See if you can get into an Anime and you will know I speak the truth!! Enjoy my Blog!!

The Many Genres of Anime!
.jpg)

Every Anime known to man has to have a genre or two. Like the picture of Rumiko Takahashi's Ranma 1/2, the genre is fiction, romantic comedy, and slightly suggestive. In the story, the young chinese martial artist Ranma Soatome moves to Japan to fullfill his useless father's secret promise to his friend that Ranma would marry one of Ranma's Father's friend's daughters, in order to keep the bloodline going. But there's just on problem. Before coming to Japan from China, Ranma and his father Genma trained atop bamboo poles over many cursed, magical springs below. Long ago in ancient China, it was said that a ancient cursed spring resided as a tourist attraction. All those that fell in by mistake, human or not, drowned and died. The curse took affect when the next person that fell in would take on the form of the one that fell in before him. Ranma fell into a spring where a girl had drowned over 5000 years before. Now every time Ranma is doused with cold water, he transforms into a girl, organs and parts in all. Genma turns into a giant panda. The effect is naturally reversed with hot to scalding water. There is also all the manor of ancient, magical Chinese and Japanese artifacts and items that are used in this anime that were once belived to be true, even in real life. Though the animation changes somewhat between the Anime and the Manga, the story is still excellent.

Other Stuff That Fans Do For Fun
.jpg)

Aside from cosplaying, art or fanfics, are created from the slightly less motivated anime fan. See here on the left how this person has created the basic cast of Naruto out of legos and clay! See the picture next to it to view this fan's model. The fan in question that created the Naruto lego guy is named John Stovanni, a 23 year-old anime and Naruto fan that creates lego guys that look like numerous anime and video game characters.
Show You're A Fan! Cosplay Is Neat!

Obviously, with every good anything comes the peanut gallery and then...the fandom! Every second, some fan of some anime somewhere right now is trying to look like, draw, talk like, walk like, and fight like, their favorite anime character. Anime fans has opted to show they care that a new, world wide craze has come into fashion for billions of the fans to adore: Cosplay!!!! The act of cosplaying is mostly dressing up as your favorite anime character of all time. This is mostly done at Anime Boston A.K.A "A.B", where millions of anime and cartoon fans gather to mix and mingle with other fans and purchase desired merchandise. See the pictures above? This guy wanted to strut his stuff and show he's a fangirl (a jokingly but commonly used term used to describe males that likemale anime charatcers or cosplay as them are also grouped together as fangirls. This is mostly because they are just as fanatic about the character as the girls are) of Naruto's Sasuke Uchiha. Notice the exquisite details. And do you know what the best part is? The cosplayers are required to make their own costumes! Talk about creative!

Often times in more kid-friendly animes, a stlye on animation known as the "Chibi Method" is used. This adored by all primarily because characters are taken and are then condensed, or "Super-Deformed" (SD'd) to look like huggable, doll sized replicas of that character. The pictures shown here are examples of both SD'd chibis and the character modeled form them. Chibi Animation is meant to make girls laugh and go "Awwwww!!! She's/He's sooooo cute!!!!" The same could be said for boys, though chibis are directed at girls and younger children.
